SanDisk Cruzer Micro 4GB Review
Unlike the Cruzer Titanium we reviewed last month the Cruzer Micro is available in a 4GB unit, whereas the Titanium maxes out at 2GB. Additionally, the Cruzer Micro is also available in sizes of 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB.
The Dimensions are: 7.94mm x 20.6mm x 57.15mm (D x W x L), exactly the same size as the Titanium version. Although not as small as some modern flash drives the Micro is definitely small, but still big enough that you won't lose it. The drive features the much-loved sliding design. When slid in your USB is protected without the need of a cap that tends to get lost. In the corner there is a keychain connector for putting it on your keyring or the included lanyard.
When plugged in the slider glows a nice orange color, not quite as cool as the blue on the titanium, but whatever? The plastic that the Cruzer is constructed out feels really cheap and flimsy. Things in my pocket tend to get crushed, I am not sure I would be able to trust my data on this. Unless you working in a situation where the Cruzer could possibly get crushed this definitely shouldn't be a concern to you. Suffice to say it probably wouldn't be able to take getting run over by a car like the Titanium version.
The Cruzer Micro contains advanced U3 Smart technology by SanDisk. U3 allows you to run special programs bundled using an available developer kit from SanDisk. The programs run directly off your flash drive, no need to install. Some popular programs included Portable Firefox, Portable Thunderbird and Skype. U3 saves all program data directly on the Cruzer. I will not go very in-depth on U3 as I already have covered it in the Titanium review.
More on the size, 4GB in something this small is pretty cool. Just how far would 4GB take you? (Estimates @ certain filesizes)
Pictures: 9,500

The package includes the Cruzer Micro, lanyard and a 1 month Skype voicemail card.
Overall
Due to its somewhat cheap feeling, and flimsy design, I probably wouldn't trust my data on this in fear of it getting broke too easily. If you don't mind that it is definitely a very good choice for buyers, especially since it's available in such large storage capacities. The U3 software is great and will come in handy for people often using computers that aren't theirs! Recommened!
